A man (Nicolas Cage) capturing an aircraft flight home from a four year stint in prison after accidentally killing the guys who attempted to assault his pregnant other half finds himself aboard an airplane full of lifers/death row convicts that take over the airplane in an elaborate attempt to get their freedom.
This flick is a perfect exercise in ludicrous extra. There’& rsquo; s excessive of everything below. You have virtually every recognizable personality actor from the 1990s stuck on an airplane playing prisoners. Seriously, M.C Gainey, Steve Buscemi, Danny Trejo, Ving Rhames, as well as I’& rsquo; m not even close to being half method via the listing. Oh yeah, the man who played Bubba in Forest Gump is here as well playing virtually the very same personality.
After that you have the 3 main celebrities of John Malkovich, Nicolas Cage, and also John Cusack. It’& rsquo; s pointless to critique the acting, as all 3 pretty much just pork it up hilariously. Nicolas Cage has probably the most awful southern accent I’& rsquo; ve ever before listened to in this flick.
Malkovich plays a character called Cyrus the Virus, who has “& ldquo; eliminated more people than cancer & hellip;” & rdquo; at one point a personality is covered in gas, as well as yells out “& ldquo; CY– & ldquo; to which comes the reply “—& ldquo;– onora & rdquo; as Malkovich throws a lit cigarette into the fumes.
I enjoy silly films that have the balls to simply go for it, and this is simply such a motion picture. The special effects are all virtually sight tricks, like a point where Cage as well as Malkovich are having a stressful stand down when a propeller flies with the plane and goes right between them, not scathing either one.
My home town of Benton, IL doesn’& rsquo; t have a lot going all out, yet one point we do have is the truth that we are the initial hometown of actor John Malkovich. Also, arbitrary bit, my better half was buddies with the actor’& rsquo; s late mother, as well as of all her child’& rsquo; s movies she stated this one was her fave.
