If you were hoping to see or hear more about two highly anticipated Bethesda offerings, The Elder Scrolls VI and Starfield, at this year’s E3 then we’ve got some bad news for you.
Bethesda announced at PAX East that they will not be discussing either game at E3. Todd Howard asked fans to be patient.
“Before everyone asks, please be patient,” Howard said. “It’s going to be a long time. It’s not something we’re going to be talking about at e3, either of those games, this year. Patience, please.”
Both games were revealed with quick teasers at E3 last year.
Patriot’s Ponderings: This isn’t really that surprising to me, though I still don’t believe they should’ve announced either game last year. These are games clearly meant for the next generation of consoles (and obviously PC too), and since we’re not likely to hear about any new consoles until late this year or early next year, it doesn’t make much sense to spend time talking about games that are still at least a couple of years away.
