Season of the Splicer
Yeah I think this is the first new season since I took a break during the forges where I just can barely even be bothered. Usually I'm hopping on day 1. I may get on tonight might be this weekend not sure yet. Not really in any type of rush
New activity is kinda fun. Story wise, I'm assuming it'll be like last season where we get a certain amount each week.
While I play, unless the actively calls for me to run something else, I'm changing up my main PvE set up this season just to do something different.
Top tree Arcstrider with Assassin's Cowl. Melee focused with the heal and invisibility on melee kill.
Should hopefully work pretty well in GM's. Finishing a Champion gives 15 seconds of invisibility.
Yeah I could stand a change, I'll need to set back and figure some stuff out this weekend. Definitely interested in some of the new gear but the new aspects/fragments still making Stasis a pain in Crucible is pretty disheartening
I kinda wish they'd just do away with PvP and do more crazy stuff in PvE and allow for actual builds... and I like the PvP well enough when it isn't cheap or complete garbage.
But it's clear they don't care one bit about it.
The new exotic armor this season is pretty cool. Only have the Hunter one, but the others seem like they'd be pretty good.
4 new weapon God Roll guides posted today for the new/reissued Iron Banner weapons.
- Riiswalker (New Shotgun)
- Archon's Thunder (New Machine Gun)
- Finite Impactor (Reissued Energy Hand Cannon)
- Occluded Finality (Reissued Energy Sniper Rifle)
Will be getting a lot more guides out throughout the week for other season weapons, and probably doing the Vault of Glass weapons on Friday.
Seeing people complaining about a lot of bugs and glitches. I haven't run into too much yet myself. Have you all?
Haven't noticed anything personally.
Just the usual frustrations of doing an activity and getting the same thing or having pinnacles drop only for two slots.
Yeah I had Primes back to back decode into chest pieces when anything other than chest or helmet would have been an upgrade. As annoying as it is trying not to sweat it as much this season. Man thing need to be higher level for is GM and have just over a month before they even launch so is what it is.
I know you mentioned it before but Farewell is pretty nasty, really want to get a good Gridskipper as I think those two would pair well in PvP
I'm not really into this season much but I'm plodding along. I'm at 1320 (mostly thanks to the artifact) but... meh.
Pretty much fully back into it now.
Got a build on my titan now that I'm really liking. Bottom tree Sunbreaker with the new Path of Burning Steps (got those last night).
Rage of the Warmind, Wrath of Rasputin, Global Reach, Warmind's Decree/Grasp of the Warmind (will depend on whether or not I have a void capable weapon equipped).
Seventh Seraph Hand Cannon, Empty Vessel grenade launcher, Xenophage.
Firewalker is procced pretty much nonstop and Warmind Cells just demolish everything and create new cells (which is where Grasp is nice, allows to throw a cell into a new group of enemies).
Knocked out 3 strikes solo with it, just a ton of fun.
Will do a write up of the Titan Solar build next week.
Will have the build guide for my Stasis Hunter PvE build posted later today!
This has been a helluva season.
I don't mean content wise. Lord knows I don't have much interest in doing the seasonal loop anymore and the umbral focusing stuff way too expensive to even bother with.
But it's still been fun. I started off thinking I'd be playing a Stasis Hunter build with Assassin's Cowl, switched to a solar Titan warmind build, then switched the yeet Titan build, and now have too much fun running the Stasis Warlock turret build.
First time since probably Shadowkeep that I've gotten all three characters to the pinnacle cap. Almost 200 on the season pass.
Been enjoying running three characters too, although this is by far the least I've ever played my main. Especially in end-game content like GM's, where it's either Stasis Warlock or Thundercrash Titan.
And finally getting the Conqueror seal done was great and hopefully can get it gilded before season ends.
Need to start playing PvP more with my Titan and Warlock.
EDIT: And I really wish they would include an additional Legend or Master Lost Sector a day that drops exotic weapons. I would love the ability to target farm exotic kinetic, energy, or heavy weapons because they drop at power meaning you could farm it and be able to upgrade your exotics for glimmer without a module or just have items in the slot to upgrade other stuff weapons.
Yeah I ended up playing a lot of catchup this weekend. I think when I played the other night doing the dungeon I was 185, hit 198 today and should be able to easily hit 200 before I call it a night.
This season is the most I've played Warlock period and while I still think their glide is atrocious, most fun I've ever had on a Warlock.
Sadly the RNG Pinnacle system continues to be a pain as I only need a 1320 chest piece and gauntlets but after doing most of my pinnacles have gotten mostly weapons
