So Final Battle will be the last ROH show until at least April 2022, as they are going to be restructuring/making changes (or they could just be done, there's no guarantee they'll definitely return).

All of their talent have been effectively released. Contracts aren't being renewed, and those under contract will be allowed out if they wish to sign with other promotions.

Damn, that's pretty crazy.  I was watching there for a while and went to a couple of events and it was really good at the time.  Hope they can bounce back, but between losing a lot of their top talent to AEW when it started, and then the pandemic, I know it 'has to have been hard for them.

Mix of good and bad here. I'm excited to see Jay Lethal and the Briscoes get some opportunities in AEW. Briscoes vs FTR is a dream match, but kind of sad if this turns out to be the end of ROH.

I imagine AEW and WWE would go all out on a bidding war for that video library which would be a goldmine for DVDs and streaming content. People always talk about the OVW class of the early 2000s with Lesnar, Orton, Cena, Batista etc.. but ROH delivered just as many if not more big time stars: Punk, Danielson, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, and then onto the next generation of guys with Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Adam Cole and dozens of others.

Agreed on all that.

In addition to Briscoes vs FTR, we already know Briscoes vs the Bucks is gold, as was Briscoes vs SCU(even though SCU isn't a thing anymore).  But I'm looking forward to Briscoes and Lucha Brothers.

Seems like they aren't going to be selling their library and will return as a pure indy promotion; talent paid on a per appearance basis with no contracts.
