Tonight, WWE Smackdown comes to Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, NC.
WWE is advertising little for the show tonight, but here’s what they’ve announced:
- Baron Corbin vows to humiliate Roman Reigns
- Roman Reigns will go one-on-one with Dolph Ziggler
- Will we find out what happened to Daniel Bryan at the end of last week’s episode?
Smackdown airs tonight at 7pm CT on FOX.
Patriot’s Position: Pathetic. We know one match heading into a show that takes place in less than six hours. And we know that Baron Corbin still wants to humiliate Roman Reigns in a feud no one cares about. Just straight garbage. Unless you literally don’t know what you’re going to be doing, it isn’t that hard to announce stuff ahead of time. This preview doesn’t say you should tune in, it but it does say we don’t have a clue what we’re doing outside of stuff involving Roman Reigns. You don’t have brand specific pay-per-views, so make the show matter. Announce stuff in advance and build to matches that will take place on the show weeks later. I know there’s no on air authority figure, but at least make it look like someone knows what the hell is going on.
